Founded nearly thirty years ago, ECAMSECURE started as a traditional security guard service that quickly developed a reputation for reliability and customer service. By 2000, CEO and founder Chris Coffey recognized that emerging new technologies had the power to overcome human limitations. “Whatever our customers’ pain points are,” Coffey says, “we will solve them by adopting innovative technologies for rapid action in real-time.”
True to its renewed sense of purpose, ECAMSECURE was the first to develop mobile, trailer-based camera platforms for flexible application in the most challenging environments. In 2009, ECAMSECURE’s remote monitoring operation, the Command Center, was awarded a UL listing in recognition of its excellence. The company moved to its current Long Beach location in 2018, and was acquired by GardaWorld in 2019, allowing it to offer a comprehensive package of human and technological security resources to customers throughout the United States.
