Citywide Home Loans was founded by Steven J. Goorman as Citywide Funding. His entrepreneurial, dynamic, and determined style has grown the small broker company of just five people into a major mortgage corporation. Today, Citywide has over 800 employees and covers 35 states, all while remaining true to our small company roots.

Steve keeps his hand on the pulse of the company and still originates loans on a daily basis. He loves dealing with borrowers and believes that keeps him in tune with both the struggles and victories that his fellow loan officers feel. Citywide employees are a passionate and close knit group. It was very frustrating to have been quoted a rate, and hear back two weeks later the rates had gone up, and they did not lock it in when they quoted me it.

The representatives who helped me at the end were great, but i think Citywide needs to be more careful with their agents everywhere. I hope all my personal information or documents got shredded in that office.

I didn't get any clarification. Unfortunately, they seems to lack transparency. They were very confusing, rude, and pretentious. They made the process appear a lot harder than it should've been. AVOID.
